Sierra Madre is a small unique town in the San Gabriel Valley. It has always reminded me of some of the smaller villages in Northern California. With its close proximity to the mountains and central business district, you sometimes forget that the second most populated city in the US is only 20 miles away to the west. Many of the local residents frequent the nearby shops and restaurants and you will see many of the townspeople out walking their dogs.
